How It Works

The Spatial System of Record

AWE resolves fragmented sensor outputs into one continuous, shared spatial state — and keeps it current as the world changes.

Coordinate Frame

AWE uses spatial measurements from vision systems, radar, RF, and telemetry to establish and maintain a single, persistent coordinate frame. No GPS required.

When the environment changes, updates are localized while maintaining continuity of the spatial record across sessions and modalities.

Shared Spatial State

Every agent reads from the same spatial state in real time. When a rack shifts, every system knows simultaneously. When a target moves behind an obstruction, the system maintains continuity of tracked entities through temporary loss of visibility.

Every output carries an uncertainty estimate — so operators know the difference between a certain track and a probable one.

AWE extracts spatial metadata at the edge and discards the video. No images stored. No biometrics. Privacy-safe by design.

Audit Trail

Every spatial event recorded. Any event reconstructable — for root cause analysis, compliance auditing, human-in-the-loop verification, and AI training.

When a line stops, operators don't guess. They see exactly what changed and when.

Referee Model

The Spatial System of Record is advisory. It never enters the control loop.

Spatial intelligence is published via standard interfaces — ROS 2, VDA 5050, MQTT, WebSockets. Your autonomy stacks act on it without modification. No safety recertification. Minimal custom integration. Vendor-neutral across heterogeneous fleets and legacy infrastructure.

Deployment

An industrial zone covers 2,000 to 5,000 square feet, instrumented with 3 to 6 cameras and edge compute. The Mobile Install Wizard scans the environment, establishes the coordinate frame, and configures the system — without taking the floor offline.

Calibration typically takes ~48 hours. Full installation depends on site infrastructure and electrical configuration. Built for deployment by certified systems integration partners. The reference architecture is standardized and repeatable across facilities. Design partners who are integrators are first in line for AWE certification.
